Here you find some history of my songwriting kept.
Back in the the day's I recorded my songs directly into my computer, often just a couple of days after I wrote them. The sound quality is not good. But each one of them reflekt the very special feeling I only have when a song is new....
You can also listen to some studiorecorded stuff with my two ex. bands here on soundclick: search for the bandnames Little Failures (English songs) and Lill-Britt Siv (Swedish songs).
I write both in English and in Swedish wich is my native language. And when I write in English I try to use the language in my own way wich means it may not always be after the book...
Most of the photos on this website are taken by Welsh photographer Rhys Jones. The others my myself.
In november 2011 I released my first soloalbum in Swedish. Flickan av is. 10 songs of my own and three translations of Steve Earle. You can listen to a couple of tracks att myspace.com/lolitaray, and of course Spotify and iTunes, and if you want to order a copy, drop me a mail at sixstring97@yahoo.com

I bought my first guitar when I was twelve, it had seven strings and sounded awful...The good thing about it was that I learned how to play, and started writing songs - the first one I wrote was already written by The Rolling Stones. LOL
I think I have shaped up since then, and now I write my own songs....I have been in different bands and duos since I was thirteen, but 1996 I started the project Little Failures with a friend, Fanny Holm, and we played together for 14 years! Then in 2003 i found three girls and started another band: Lill-Britt Siv. Now I perform by myself, with guitar and harmonica, and with Brittakåren, the band that came out of Lill-Britt Siv when one of the members left the band in 2008.
I do play live with my bands Little Failures and Brittakåren and of course on my own...
Fred Åkerström, Bellman, Cornelis...Theese are the heavy guys who influenced I think every swedish singer/songwriter in some way... As for my english songs, The Beatles, Neil Young, Bob Dylan, Steve Earle, Townes van Zandt among a hugh crowd of other talented people...
