HERES THE BORING PART AS PEEPS KEEP ASKING QUESTIONS IN MSGS SO READ THIS FIRST. All the tracks on my site are by various artists and I have not produced them in anyway there have been licenced to me by the artists so before you say you tracks are heavy they aint mine. But read on and youll no what im all about. I do mix compilation albums of UK Hip Hop, Grime & RnB which are proper albums and not mix tapes. All this is done independently theres no manager or record label behind me, I have paid for pressing printing PR and getting the CDs glass mastered etc.. so im not messing about its all done properly and professionally. IF YOU ARE INTRESTED ON FEATURING ON ONE OF MY ALBUMS THEN SEND YOUR TRACKS AND INFO TO ME@DJAMESMUSIC.CO.UK ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- First off thanks for visiting the site and on here am going to tell you how I got into the DJ game. I was a late started in trying to get into the music industry as a lot of the guys out there at the min have been put all there hard work in since such a young age. A lot of people just starting out dont realise how hard and frustrating the music industry can be at times cos you think youre getting somewhere and theres always something that puts a spanner in the works. But ive learned you got to get over these obstacles where theres a will theres a way. The man that inspired me in this game is the Big Dog Pit bull Tim Westwood hes doing his thing big style. I have also learned that if youre going to do summit take your time & think about things and get it out there looking good and professional. It might cost you money but it will be worth it in the long run. Now back to how I got started in this game. Ive bin into the urban scene for most of my life and I knew that I always wanted to be a DJ ever since I used to go and watch my mate on his decks playing his dance music. But for me Dance music just didnt give me that get up and go feeling. So eventually I bought myself some turntables and some records and started sticking to mainly the US urban scene. I wasnt really a fan of UK Hip Hop, Grime & RnB at first but eventually it just stuck to me like glue and I couldnt stop listening to it. I knew that if I wanted to do a good CD it would have to be something different as most DJs are doing mix tapes all the time and not many are bringing compilation mixes out and if they do they are mainly US music and a few UK artists. So I decided after sitting back and watching how things are being done to start a series of compilations called Raw Talent which feature UK Hip Hop, Grime & RnB. I have heard most of this talent on myspace.com and to be honest if it werent for my space this CD wouldnt be happening cos id have no way of contacting the artists and no way of making things happen. My space is a great way for peeps to get themselves heard and also network with other artists and gain a fan base too. Im in this game myself to promote myself and all the guys in the UK that have talent and want to be heard cos we all got to stick together and help one another out if we want to get things moving. Raw Talent Vol 1 will be out within the next few weeks and this can be purchased from my online shop & also HMV in Derby other establishments will also be stocking this CD. Enjoy the Site & the CDs theres plenty more to come from me!!!
