Honorable Negus, former member of the extended Sound System from Jamaica called New York King Jammys, operated by his uncle known as Pirate Beardy the selector, with
Unknown Solder, Freedom Fighter, Jah Mickey, Sluggy Ranks, Marshall Don, Cane Juice, Johnny Osbourne, Malibu, Josey Wales, Brigadier, Nicodemous, Early B, Major Mackrel, Papa Biggie, Bobby Culture, Santa Ranking, Super Cat, Dj Daddy, Trevor Sparks, Louie Ranking, Johnny Ringo, Frankie Paul, Leroy Smart
to name just a small sample of artists who regulated the Sound System often.
As a young man of 13, Negus was heavily influenced by these and many other known and unknown artists. Along with the Sound System their was also New York Jammy’s Record shop Located in the Bronx. There Negus absorbed an enormous amount of reggae music from all over the world.
Following the passion further he attended Audio Engineering School At The Institute Of Audio Research in Manhattan to enhance his skills. Again at school he met influential people who motivated him to make demos, and till this day he hasn’t kick the habit. Now in his prime he is ready to unleash "Fire," as he would say.
