I have been djing since 2000. I was introduced to drum and bass at the end of that year when a neighbor of mine under the name SAED produced it, and i could hear it comming out his house. The beat grew on me and stuck. I learned that it is something basic that can be made to be more complex than words and meanings. It (sometimes) can create places for my mind to go that i hadn't yet figured out, while also getting me hyped at the same time. But to cut the bullshit with a knife, the sound is hard as nails and hits like a scuicidal jump off a freeway into oncomming traffic going 80. Thats what Im into.
