We wanted to write songs that would touch people and that Mary enjoyed singing. Dad wrote all the songs, and various friends and family musicians helped on the recordings.
These are the final mixes!!
We have played live in central Ohio, but some of the family is away at college, so we are working on soundtracks for a concert.
Dad's musical taste span from big band to Linkin Park. John likes Creed, Switchfoot, Staple, Skillet, and others. Mary likes Evanescence, Barlow Girl, and a new touring group she went to high school with called Waiting For Iris.
I use an Alesis keyboard for the MIDI work, with Cakewalk Sonar, Project 5, my computer, and an AudioTechnica mike with a Behringer tube pre-amp. We borrowed a POD guitar amp. My son plays a PRS Mark Tremonti guitar.
Dad likes good songs, and mostly writes, although he has played a few instruments.
