Sunny Side of Life (last verse only)

Suzanne and friend, Eddie....
Howdy! We are a couple who LOVE to play and sing! Sometimes we are a duet, and many times we are a group among friends, playing and singing Old Time, bluegrass, folk, gospel and even contemporary Christian tunes at church:) Philip is a fine guitar player and even sings, on occasion:) Suzanne plays her beloved mountain dulcimer more than anything else and does a little bit of singing "on the side" :) We live in a small, southeast Texas town, not far from Houston and we play all over the greater Houston area for all types of events, even in period costume from time to time! Suzanne started her musical journey in Columbia, MO, well over 30 years ago. Philip started his in his native home of London, England. We took quite different routes to end up where we are today, but glad we're here and pickin' together!
Band/artist history
With NHCDS: San Jacinto Reenactment (Texas Independance) Katy Folklife Festival Independance Hall (apt. complex for the disabled) various churches in and around Houston. Many other events adn festivals. Magnolia Free Will Baptist Church (our home)
Have you performed in front of an audience?
Yes, we play live. We absolutely love it. Often we play with members of our acoustic music club (North Harris County Dulcimer Society)at various events, and one of our favorites is playing for the folks less fortunate who seem to appreciate what we bring to them the most:)
Your musical influences
We both have many influences, depending on the particular genre we are talking about. Access the folk and rock of the 60's and 70's and you've about tagged us!
What equipment do you use?
sometimes a small amp with pick ups. mics
Anything else?
Our usual motto is "if you don't have to plug it in to play it, you are welcome!"
