Hello, and welcome to 's site at soundclick.com. My name is Nicholas Cooke. I started this whole thing about six years ago by putting together the parts of music I liked. My whole family has been a major influence as well as Life (in general) for the fact that I have sort of grown a costume to listening to all types of music. This mainly was brought on by the fact that I think that music needs to start going back to its roots and be fun as appose to all songs having an emotional meaning... this is were I fit into all of this.
Band/artist history
was started by Nick Cooke back in 2000 when he first started making techno under the name . He than took his talent of mixing away from samples and made his own sound of Rock 'n' Roll by combining both the old school of Rock with the new. In the end of 2003, Nick found Charlie Brown and Josh Beale as his band mates and shorten the band name. They record one album, , which had five orginal songs and four covers, which inculde; "" by Bryan Adams, "" by jimmyeatworld, "" by Effiel 65, and "" by the Ramones. After the second show, Charile and Josh both left for the own reasons. Nick continued making new songs and built a studio in his house from his old garage. He than record an acoustic album called ".ARE.NOT.ALONE.", in which had such songs as "Same", "Tears In December", and "What Should I Do?". He honestly felt as if he had finally found his true calling.", his second CD of him playing everything and with the help of his middle school friend Sarah Ellifritz, he was able to make such catchy songs like "Hate Me", "Fake", and "Knife in Your Chest". ". At this time, Nicholas is finally at the make or break point. If this album gets him noticed in the musically world, this will not be his last record, but he also said that two albums ago and he refuses to just give up. So this part of the history is now in your hands...
Have you performed in front of an audience?
has played a couple shows with only me being the only one to be in all of them. The fact of only playing very rarely works in two ways; one, you are sure you will have new material as well as old; and two, you are not as stressed out by the end of the week.
Your musical influences
the Beatles, Green Day, and Weezer... thats about it because thats what I grew up on
What equipment do you use?
Squaire Bullet Special, Create Half Stack, an Appluse Acoustic Guitar, 1985 Fender P-Bass, BOSS 864 Recorder, Radio Shack Omi-mic, PDP Drums, Pro-Mark Sticks, and my computer (which does the drums for right now but I practice and play what I create on my computer)
Anything else?
Don't let the media control what is rightfully yours... your freedom to be whatever the fuck you wanna be!
