Gloria recalls early years with her sisters stating, "I used to tape light bulbs into toilet paper rolls for realistic microphones. Then we would wait for our parents to leave on a shopping trip and we would rearrange the entire living room to do our own talent shows of Aretha Franklin, Diana Ross, and a few country singers that come to mind. Id always win by the votes of my 2 younger sisters" As time went on Gloria described the growing desire both her and her younger sisters had for the art of singing and dance. Their goal she explains was to each become their own successful artists unique to each other's genre. She describes growing up in a household where music was a second language, and a background of many talents throughout her family history.
Gloria describes herself as enjoying a little piano & a little guitar favouring especially the 12 string. She states she's lost alot of her ability by leaving it over the years. But finds it useful in assisting with the writing of music to her lyrics.
Gloria loves music of all genres. She describes it as a universal language of heart and freedom of speech.
