Young Ntelabi started in the church as an altar boy in the Corpus Christi Roman Catholic Church in Sakumono and was involved in most church activities. At age 9 he started miming, imitating and copyrighting his favourite emcees at the time. He joined his Junior High School Choir from whence he developed a higher sense of understanding into translating his basic musical ideas. With a few punch rhymes he started phone recording on polyphonic ringtones where he could hear and correct his mistakes and also share with colleagues for criticisms. After sometime he realized he had to start working on his own projects and later came out with a couple of demos in his early days in Senior High School in Koforidua- Effiduase. His influential production entitled “So So Sweet feat. Knuckles” produced by Dery Tha Bushbeatz in late 2007, shot him to a fame bound start as this song accompanied with dozens of his demos and featured productions circulated throughout the high school body and beyond. In Pope John Snr. High he was affiliated with “Strictly Street S2.” a Hip Hop and RnB group with Murda, B-Snow, Boy Klench and Perez all his seniors, after some time S2 was Re-Branded to 2FLY GH a Clothing line and Entertainment Group with he, Ntelabi, as CEO recruiting his mates as staff to push this movement after his seniors completed school. The crew included J-Havoc, Stychix, Boi Mike, K-Phrey, Chopper and Babe 1 with a junior team body with Shady Les, Boi Jamin, Boi Base, Grenade and Juicy-K and has since been in existence till date. As a group, with Drilix as C.E.O, 2FLY GH was awarded “Clique of the Year” on 2 consecutive occasions and Drilix himself awarded best emcee of his time.
