In 1986 I formed a punk rock collaboration, I always loved keyboard bands and secretly hid these bands away from my punk rock friends. I was lead guitarist, singer, lyricist...but needed the other member to perform the sets, so I didn't rock the boat in order we played the gigs we had been booked for. That was a nightmare, the bassist was always to loud and over powered everyone. I come from punk rock and new wave, I lived this life on and off the stage.
I formed Alepta because a fellow musician had resigned, She had family issues, with to many pots on her fire, we had been #3 on the national chart for my main website, So, I decided that I would let that band off the ranking , still keeping on the website, Interestingly, I turned the ranking or for that band, it was really low, then for some reason, its now #1 again, I haven't done anything with it. But I am having fun making these new songs for Alepta and have risen very high at #3 right now...going higher.
I used to perform Live every weekend, often, 3 times a week in other band projects. I book gigs every once in a while, but sort of remain Alpeta as a studio band. I would play if asked, but there are certain things I require as my stage presence is very professional,
I have many, I never was the type that stay with one genre.
