RUNAWAY GRACE is a cover and original Pop-Rock party band based out of Pueblo, Colorado. Major influences include The Red Hot Chili Peppers, Metallica, Bad Company, and John Mayer. Runaway Grace was formed in June of 2010. They have played multiple 2-4 hour shows in Colorado, Kansas and Missouri. Their music selection is based off of songs which are easy to dance to, drawing people to the dance floor, and keeping the audience there the whole night. The band is a four-piece; two guitar, bass, and drums. All four members are born and raised in Pueblo, and are currently in college (Weber St., CSU-Pueblo, CSU-Fort Collins, and Benedictine College).
We were founded in June of 2010. We started off with Mike and Jake wanting to play some music during the summer. Jake suggested we add Ben on bass, and the band was almost complete. We went through an array of different drummers until we finally settled on Mitch, completing Runaway Grace! That seems to have been a good choice for us.
We are very unique in the fact that we all were high school athletes, and now are college athletes playing football (Benedictine College), tennis (Weber State), tennis (Colorado State) and basketball (CSU-Pueblo).
Yes, we play live throughout Colorado and have played shows in Kansas and Missouri.
