Christa has been performing since the age of 9 yrs old, debuting at that young age in her first Opera in 1979, "Le Boheme", which paved her way to the beginning of her professional music and songwriting/singing career. Graduated from Notre Dame in 1987, she is also an Alumni from SUNY HCCC for Radio/TV, SUNY MVCC for Human Services and of SUNY OCC for Music Performance/Music Business and Boston University Paralegal Certification. Christa is now an ASCAP member and has written well over 100 songs to her credit. She was awarded 3rd place winner for Spirit of Syracuse vocal competition, the Editors Choice Award 2001 from Int. Poet's Society, and featured on Metropolitan Who's Who in Executives and Professionals 2002-2006 national business directory. From 1989-1993, she served as Assistant Director for an after school music tutorial program called "Music in The City: A Sound Alternative". It was a pilot anti-drug project to get children off the streets and steer them back through a music/arts program to aid the inner city school district. Since then she has concentrated on her career full time as a music services professional, singer/songwriter, and has directed several church choirs for adults and children. She is the original 2003 founder of CJC Music Associates and Publishing, LLC and co-partner with Smith & Coir Associates LLC.
