'Hope for a Better'
Greetings, I'm an artist best known as Embrace the Race for my online releases and electronic prowess. I grew up in the mid-western USA and became interested in music due in part to the explosion of digital media; I collected over 700 music CDs within an seven year period. Pianos and MIDI technologies have always fascinated me; naturally, I've been producing since I bought my first keyboard. I released four techno albums from 1998-2008 including: “Folding Eye Lids (1999),” “Spirit of Music (2001),” “The Void (2004),” and “Sea of Chairs (2008)” a creative period which lasted a decade. I began Embrace the Race in 2010, adopting the name because of its’ positive ring. In 2011, I released a new album called “From the Heart,” which was easy-listening & glitch. Two years later, I branched into other genres and in the spring of 2013, the album “Stay Afloat” was complete. It’s a blend of down tempo, slow rock and electronic music.
