Harlot

Written about girls who always want to play the victim and blame everyone else for their own actions.
Created by members of the failing Kansas City Metal and Hardcore scene, Broflex has been in a slow production for over a year. It's a gritty "tough guy" band that's clearly inspired by the attitude and sound of the Hardcore genre, particularly the work of Terror, First Blood, Hatebreed, Bury Your Dead, Gideon, and Lionheart. Branding themselves with the genre "Moshcore," they focus their music around outside participation. Whether it presents a Circle Pit, Two Step, Breakdown or Moshcall, the music is developed with a formula to keep the crowd moving and the energy level high. The lyrics are written from personal experiences, but are delivered in a way they feel more people can relate. Broflex is driven with attitude and passion derived from watching the world slowly destroy itself, whether it be from governmental issues, society's influence and lack of acceptance, broken families, or just the everyday slut roaming the neighborhood. Broflex is set to release their EP titled "Driven by Anger" on Nov. 5th, 2012, featuring guest vocals from artists such as Procreator (Matt Lawson) and The Browning (Jonny McBee).
