The producer Alwyn van Deventer has been interested in music for most of his life, but until recently never really focused on producing anything professionally. So at the beginning of 2010 he decided that he would put his head down and finish his unfinished tracks and then make them available to the public to review.
He can be found on Myspace Music, Facebook as well as Last.fm where people can stream/download his tracks and become part of his fan base.
There is no real history, since I only started making my music public as of December 2010, after I was pressured to do so by friends of mine. Since then, I've received really good feedback, and hoping that this trend keeps on going in the same direction.
Haven't played live yet. I create my own music, but would probably have someone else play it live as I do not have the skills to do live shows. That might be something which I'd change in the near future, however to me, the pleasure is in the creation of it, and later the appreciation there of.
Hard to say, since I don't like any specific genre/group/artist. I tend to hear some sounds, and either like it or not. So it might be a small part in one song, and another part from a different song that I think should be put together, or that might give me an idea for a song I could make. So to be honest, all music influenced me, perhaps country less than the others, but all music still.
