Both brothers born in the Kensington section of Brooklyn, New York, moved down to Atlanta, Georgia in 1996. During their early years both brothers would listen to Bollywood music and and old school hip-hop with their uncles. Growing up in Brookhaven at Peachtree Garden Apartments the family would later move into their current home in Doraville, Geaorgia. Both brothers attended Oakcliff Elementary School, Chamblee Middle School, and now currently Cross Keys High School, they both had their interest in making music back in 2006. Making beats by downloading any kind of software, or the BeatMaker video game on their playstation 2, they both were introduced to Fruity Loops Stuido. Barz (Iqbal Bahar Chowdhury) first started to write music at the early age of 10 by listening to artists like Jay-Z, 50 Cent, and Eminem. Lion G (Gais Kamal Chowdhury) always sang hindi music and later would sing R&B songs of his own by listening to Usher, Akon, Ne-Yo, Mario, and Omarion. With so many dislikes with their earlier music Barz would later change his name to Stax, then J-Que and now Barz. With the assist of their childhood friend Obe a.k.a Young Arson he helped the two brothers on what they need to know about the music industry, which rappers that he would recommend, and even collaborating on tracks. With only using a 10 dollar dynamic microphone and a recording software Cool Edit Pro the brothers would keep making music till they bought their equipment with the Samson C03U condenser microphone thus making studio quality music. The two brothers released their debut mixtape: Brooklyn Thugga. Which featured artists like Young Prodigy, Double A, Jay Young, and Vision. After their debut release both brothers went on with their solo projects.
