We are The Background. A 5 piece rock/pop/indie band from the suburbs of Dallas, TX. We thrive on creating music that differs from the next band in our genre. Covering everything from life, to love, to faith, to sex; our lyrics are all reflections on what we go through or have been through in the past year with this line up.
We plan on finishing our debut album this Summer with a follow up tour this Winter around our state and surrounding. In August we begin shooting a music video for our single "Here We Go Again".
We are predominately live 6 months out of the year. We have played all over the Southern tip of the United States and plan on completing all 50 states in several runs of tours throughout 2011.
