BTD is a mix between metalcore, industrial, post hardcore, and screamo, with an alternative feel.
The music from The Sweetest Melancholy includes elements of pop, rock, country, contemporary, jazz, orchestral and world music. Music, like food, can have many ingredients. Some obvious, some imperceptible. All contribute to a good base. In this way, decades of great Pop, Rock, Indie, Punk, Blues, Latin, Classical and World Music have influenced and inspired the music of The Sweetest Melancholy. Bon Appetit!
