Rocket Park is a band that sticks out like a sore thumb in any crowd. While other bands carefully strive for genre purity and aesthetic homogeneity, Rocket Park revels in all its messy contradictions. Brit-Rock, Atmosphere music, trancey grooves, sonic jazz Reisender is Chris Ward and Brad Hartman who met a couple of years ago in a band called the Motorprophets. They wrote, produced and recorded a full length album entitled, All Throughout in Portland, OR. Hartman and Ward now reside in Los Angeles and San Francisco and are planning to fill out a band and start playing shows.

When four guys lived together for an entire semester, things were bound to happen. We caught a great deal of the insanity on our first three CD's. Although we Rogers #81 was made of the members of a College dorm room at Union University that happened to be called Rogers #81. The band survived a semester of musical success and disbanded after a three CD run. The members of Rogers 81 have now all transferred to the Lee complex.
