Lyrical, miracle, musical mile, greatness never goes out of style Jerusha Band was formed in San Bernardino, CA back in 1969 when Roger met John, & Keith met John, and after some members came and went, it was just the 3 of them left....they called the band 69th Sundown, Ceasar, then Jerusha, and finally, Jerusha Band. Songs from a life of band and solo instrumentals are extended range bass, e-percussion and occasional guest artists I enjoy creating emotive and melodic compositions using extreme extended-range 7, 8, 9 and 10-string electric basses as the principal instruments. From sub-contra to delicate piccolo bass occasionally accompanied by synthesizers or effects and e-percussion to construct instrumental aural landscapes for focused listening or sonic backdrops. Actually a lot of the music is up beat and optimistic so figure that one out, I wish I could.Perhaps because music takes me to another place that I can not otherwise occupy, or maybe at the best of times opens a doorway for me.
I think I have drifted through every musical style
Pop/Rock, Psychedelic, Ambient, Rhythm & Blues and beyond. Major Snagg is the invented name of the 'band' that perform all my own musical creations. (songs and instrumentals). I play guitars, bass, rudimentary keyboards, harmonica, and sing. Melody has always been important to me... lyrics and guitar solos have to say or communicate something. I create musical worlds that I hope that you dear listener, will also want to explore and live in for a few moments...or longer if you feel that way

Coming with a light straight from the stars, only to kill it right before your eyes. Noise poetry. Listen to your soul. Dive deep. Have you ever tried to catch your thoughts and feelings floating in the deep underground of your soul and describe them to a stranger in a bar during the never-ending moment between flashlights and blackouts of your mind, alternating each other like white and black keys in the hands of a mad piano player? Or briefly: have you ever tried to dream? To love? To live?...
