Tropical Tunes , Redneck Blues and baby boomer ballads I grew up by the ocean and can't live without it. I need palm trees and sand between my toes. I need that ocean breeze and the smell of salt air. My latest CD, my 3rd, is about the things I love and me getting back to my musical roots. My last CD was written with Cap't Ron T. Smith and two of my favorite songs with his lyrics are included on 'I Got it Made!'.
Good enough for electronica. This is me (Simon Speed) writing and producing music on my own and with my friends, particularly Jonathon Harflett (formerly of Dawnwind).
'...I too play a guitar- but sometimes I play the fool' -John Lennon Mostly, I write originals songs and record/produce the material at home. I just play acoustic/electric guitar, sometimes bass. I'll fill out the songs with other 'instruments'. Lately I've been filming renditions of these songs, doing covers of pop/rock songs, and making music videos of my material.
The Lite Side, a unique trio noted particularly for its vocal harmonies, and featuring a variety of acoustic instruments disbanded in November of 2010.
