I have tinkered around with music since I was young, with first influences coming from being in a folk trio with my Mother and older Brother performing songs by groups such as Peter, Paul and Mary, the Kingston Trio and the Limeliters. This was during the 60's. During and after High School there was a large variety of groups to draw influence from, such as Eric Clapton and Cream, Crosby, Stills, Nash and Young, James Taylor, Jethro Tull, Blood, Sweat and Tears, Chicago, Steely Dan, etc., etc....
accoustic old time fiddle My band is just me and my fiddle. I started learning to play after my 65th birthday,and I haven't had this much fun since I discovered girls. I don't consider myself a good fiddler, but be grateful, I ain't as bad as I was. The tunes put up on this site will be mostly old tunes selected for two reasons. First, because I like the tune, and second, I can play the tune at a level that it is recognizable.
