Leonard Scaper
Lenny likes to rock.
Unfortunately, his introspective side sneaks up and commandeers most of his songs.
He loves his old Gibson SG but he can't keep his old Kalamazoo acoustic from hijacking many of the guitar tracks.
Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
I was never a good enough player to do covers as a solo artist so i started writing songs in 1975. I always had my cheap plastic Teac cassette deck in the room while jamming around the woodstove.
In the 90's I was 4-tracking with a Tascam 424....then Protools at the turn of the century.
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
The Thirteenth Floor in the 60's covering typical tunes from that day....i played bass.
Whirlwind in the 70's....three piece covering James Taylor and Eagles type stuff. I played bass and harmonica...lots of vocal harmonies. i played my originals in between sets.
jammed with some hot rockin' blues bands back then as well on harmonica.
