Also Katherine/Faunaserene/Ariadawna :-) THat is very cool you got some new musical toys to play with. A few years ago I picked up the Korg Microkey which came with software called the Korg Legacy series featuring 6 of their most coveted synths including the Korg M1 and Wavestation. Both of those can be heard in the intro to VKV1. Wavestation is the lead and M1 did the strings. On VK Djent your hearing my amazing little badass Korg Mirco Korg laying down nice pads for my crunchy guitars on top :-) .
In a couple months I'm going to release Vinny K Volume 2 / VKV2 which will feature nothing but my keyboards/synth stuff. Also it won't be full "rock band" sounding stuff. Instead I used this album for my collection of compositions that lean more towards soundtrack/movie score type stuff. I think you'll like this one. It's basically done. I put your tunes on and it just took me to your own unique planet of blissful sexy dreamy mesmerizing awesomeness. Especially the Xmassy stuff as you described. But getting back to what you discussed about your own way of writing and style. That's what it's all about. Great thing about doing our own music is that we create our own Universe. It's our rules musically/lyrically. Whatever you want it to be. At the end of the day for me, I'm just making the music that I want to hear. I love the creative process. If you talk to me 20 years from now I'll still be goin at it. Hopefully ill be much more wiser and better at it! :-))

Rush dreams! Yesss! I have them all the time! Usually it's one member at a time. Usually I'll be hangin out with Alex or Geddy. Sometimes Neil even. It's always like we both know each other for a long time. I have Dave Grohl dreams too a lot. he's a HUGE instpiration for me. Billy Corgan of Smashing Pumpkins is a big influence too and I have dreams where I'm hangin with him too. I learn so much from these amazing musical geniuses. But I learn from you too of course ;-))
Ann and Nancy Wilson would be sweet to meet too. I used to have a big Nancy Wilson poster in my bedroom as a teenager :-)))

Thanks for checking out my acoustic playing! I always feel that acoustic is more challenging than electric guitar. Because as a player your basically naked with no effects to hide mistakes or anything :-)) I just kinda go for it anyway and I was taught that if you make a mistake make it loud and act like it was what was meant :-) That's what I try to do. Love my Mitchell guitar. I call it BLONDY :-)) I got it in 2017. I still haven't played out with it yet. Hopefully this year as it gets warmer

Yessss Nature + Emotion! I pull from those too. Definitely. Right outside my door is the woods with nice footpaths here in Northern Virginia. I don't have car so I take short cut through the woods to get to the store like I'm going to do today and I'm constantly inspired by the woods and critters :-)) In fact i gotta get them nutz at the store. Anyways it totally inspires me. Plus dreams,current events, reading, hearing things people say- picking up bits of conversation kind of thing. I always have an antenna out for ideas. Especially lyrically

Hello and what up Katherine/Faunaserene/Ariadawna ;-))) As I promised my latest album VINNY K VOLUME 2 is now available to stream and download here on my Soundclick. It's 15 NEW tracks. This album focuses on my synthy/keyboard stuff. Some of it is even symphonic to a degree. I really got into my Korg Legacy Series with my Korg Microkey. Classic synths like M1, Wavestation, Poly 6. Also my Micro Korg got a ton of action. The structures are less song like. Instead I went for more of a moody, soundtrack, film score type of vibe. Hope you enjoy! Lots to unpack this time! :-)) I will check out your page too since you are prolific as I am with amazing results every time! Your stuff always relaxes me so much! ;-) I'm gonna be moving soon so I'm not sure when the next Vinny K album will be released. I do know when they are done it will be in the form of Vinny K Volumes 3 and 4 because I have many unfinished tunes and new ideas invariably coming out whenever i pick up a guitar or synth ha
