Not many artists make it big out of Arkansas is because Arkansas doesn’t really have much to offer them...
Now-a-days, the goal for the aspiring artist is to be signed by a major label, because a major label offers so much...ok, they basically offer everything, but here’s the catch--the only way they’ll get seen by the major labels is by the footprints they leave behind. Rec Execs look for how much of a hold the artist has on the public. With that being said,
Arkansas is invisible to the major record labels. Why? Because our artists’ lights don’t shine bright enough. The major labels are so high up that to them, we become microscopic, and they miss out on enjoying our major contributions to the art of music.
Our goal is to create a foundation...an organization that would make the connections that artists would otheriwse not be able to make...UNearthodOX would be a stepping stone on which the artists could climb so they could better reach the dream they follow.
Meaning we are NOT seeking profit, but instead, we’re offering a service...
UNearthodOX is more than just a group of aspiring artists, WE are a FAMILY of goal-oriented individuals who work hard underground in hopes of one day making it to the surface of the earth and beyond. We will develop and present our crafts until we make it...
And TOGETHER we shall be UNearthed.
