Sonia's Debut CD single, Oh Soldier, Oh Army: A Patriotic Tribute, Humanitarian Music Project was created to honor Soldier, Army, Service Men and Women for their brave sacrifice and service to their country around the World.
Ms. Thompson perfected her singing and perfoming talents from
an early age by singing in Church and School Choirs. She was an active participant in Peel, Kiwanis and Stratford Music Festivals. Her participation garnered her medallions of achievements.
Sonia loves to play the Violin, her premier instrument. She was awarded a Violin Certification. The clarinet and saxophone she also played while participating in Orchestras, Musical Ensembles and Bands.
Among her crowning achievements was, playing with the Toronto Symphony Orchestra and singing with the Toronto Symphony Choir.
Sonia's current profession is a Nurse and Creative Entrepreneur of her own company: A Word Designs. As an Entrepreneur, she skillfully combines her passion and love for music, the people and her vocal talents.
She was inspired by a beautiful exquisite portrait painter's documentary in May 2008 and Obama. Her desire is to inspire others with her God given gifts and talents.
Certain proceeds from Oh Soldier, Oh Army Music and Flash Music Video will go to enhance The Military Family Fund Organization.
