I'm a music hobbyist from Ottawa, Canada who took up playing music later in life. I started with the guitar and tried mandolin on a whim and was quickly hooked. I'm active in a local Celtic group and in a medieval instrumental group associated with the local SCA chapter. I also play music with my wife and children, all of whom are far better musicians than me.
