I am retired from teaching the musical arts.
I enjoy playing piano and attending concerts.
So much of music has degenerated over the last three decades.
The greats like Hamlisch, Bacharach, we shall probably never see the likes of again.
I will still continue to keep my eyes open for talent in all styles of music, but let's face it, some is hard to swallow.
The creative writers will still come to the front though, as some small but magnetic light will continue to draw us to them, though we don't know why.
Like a lantern.
