The young (20) and upcoming artist Yung Boi started writing lyrics at the age of 11. Although he is from Albany,Ga he has a totally different sound than the others around him. Growing up, he was influenced by artists such as Michael Jackson, Eminem, The Notorious B.I.G., Jay-Z, Nickelback and Zoot Woman. Being attracted to artists mainly from outside regions mixed with being raised in the south and having a new understanding and appreciation for life & the Hip Hop culture, he believes a unique hybrid of an artist with a distinctive personality was created. He strives to be the one of the greatest and to be mentioned in the same breath of his predecessors and he also engineers all of his own music. With a strong work ethic and passion for music, you'll be sure to see more from this young talented artist.
