Kash grew up in Miami, FL but always had a Jamaican influence in his life. As he got older, he developed his passion for music. We interviewed him and asked him a few questions.
Reporter: So Kash, what inspired you to make music?
Kash: As I got older, the music I listened to before just wasn't cutting it for me. I felt that I had my own flavor to bring.
Reporter: So how do you feel about the music today?
Kash: Some of it is alright, but most of it is just whatever.
Reporter: Any major Influences?
Kash: Mainly my mother because she supports me in everything I do but musically Swizz Beats, Kanye West, The Runners, Timabaland, and the Neptunes off the top of my head.
Reporter: Do you only listen to hip-hop?
Kash:(Laughs) I listen to it all.
