Not much to tell about me. I live in the country with my dog and 3 cats. I love music of all kinds, love to play out in my garden, go swimming in the summertime and play in the snow in winter. Forgot to mention I LOVE to go fishing.
I enjoy writing when thoughts finally emerge and hit my fingers. I have written kids, horror, love and fantasy stories. None have been published cause I am chicken to submit them. Guess I figure its better not to get that letter saying "reject" rather than trying.
I have a man in my life to help me and to keep me company when we both want it. Marriage is not on the agenda, but commitment is.

Life out in the boonies
Nov 20, 2007
Living out here in a small town, there isnt much to do. When my kids were small, they had their pets and helped with the cattle and fixing fences. Hay time they would all pitch in to get the bales of hay into the barn and helped out whenever their small bodies could. I had and still have 3 girls. Of course they are all grown up now and have given me 4 grandkids...also girls. Moving to this rural part of Oregon, we didnt know what life was going to be like after living in a big city in California. Boy it didnt take us long to figure out how to use an outhouse and take baths in the river. We left a nice comfortable home to live in a tent. That first year was a learning experience for all of us, but especially for me. Since the kids loved the open spaces and seeing deer walk each morning in the meadow, they adjusted fast. But kids are like that, they love playing and swimming and go with the flow. Not so with us adults. To go from a nice soft bed to a sleeping bag in a tent shared by the 3 girls, to bathing in the river or a tin tub, to scrubbing clothes on an old wash board, life took on an ugly face. The only thing that made it all worth while were the nights. I would sit at the edge of the barn and look up at the sky and see thousands of diamonds studding the black night. I would listen and hear only quiet/ no noise from cars or sirens going off. Peace was here, but I had to throw out my old life and embrace this new one That was 30 yrs ago and life has been wonderful here in the boonies. I have found and lost loves, have raised my girls to be good adults and mothers, and have grown old gracefully. Time to enjoy my life and do whatever the hell I want and I am damn well doing it. Life never stands still, but keeps on keeping on... and going like that little energizer bunny and so I must go too...........One thing I am very thankful for , I have found Paradise.
