On behalf of all the fans here on soundclick. We are all going to dearly miss Vern. This world needed more people just like him with his amazing friendliness, wit, and lyrics. I hope this page continues for many more people such as I to share his vast memories of living in rural America. Simplicity is something we seemed to have lost in many aspects of our daily lives. But Vern brought it all back the memories only he could tell with his banjo on his lap strumming along. He will be missed.

My wife’s been ill so not much chance to write but managed a rework of one of my old songs No regrets from an acoustic guitars version to full band version . Both versions on my page . Cheers

The monument in peoria thats a neat thing. They used to have a concert for Dan for a few years after his death. Not sure if they still do that.

Thanks for nice comments on Part of the Plan.. Yes the Grey Thick fogelberg book at one time I knew a whole bunch of those. Morning Sky? Thats a tall order.. Do you play banjo? Cause I sure dont if you can get a banjo part I could maybe get into that. Talk about fast.. Dans version of Blue grass
