I'm a different breed. I have a testimony, I have a dark past, but I have faith and hope for a brighter future. I've been MCing since I was in Junior High. I used to be an up-and-coming underground MC in Phoenix. The first time I found I had potential rapping was when I was 15, at my highschool's "See You At the Pole" Event. (It's a national day of prayer that every professing Christian, both students and faculty at participating schools gather a little early to pray, before class starts.) Anyway, to get to the point, I ended up being interviewed for the AZ Republic's (Phoenix's main newspaper) "Valley&State" section, during this event. That was like 1994. I think. There's been several others, hinting to me I had something going, ever since then. I love HipHop, and I always have. I grew up on East Coast, Gangsta Rap, Dirty South style, and West Coast/Bay Area Rap. 2Pac, Notorious B.I.G. Scarface, Ludacris, and the Wu-Tang Clan, Rakim, and Nas...gives an idea of my early influences. BUT...the biggest influence on my life now is JESUS. Used to be embarrassed to say that, but I'm UNASHAMED now. (Yeah, I'm down with the Unashamed Movement) Early Christian Rap influences were: DC Talk, The Cross Movement, TruWine, T-Bone, Gospel Gangstas, Toussant, and The Ambassador. That was back then, now I bump that 1-1-6 Click, and all of them: Lecrae, Trip Lee, Tedashii, and Andy Mineo. I also really get into Flame and Da T.R.U.T.H. JSon, and The Rep
