Yasir and Imran met at CityFm89 (nationwide radio channel) where they worked together September 2005. Decided to make music together. Went to an open mic night at "Cafe Caffeine", local Karachi Cafe, with fellow musician Khawer Amir Khan. Here they saw Omar Khalid, Omar Akhtar and Afaan Naqvi perform under the name "Eastern Comfort". After this night, Khawer Amir Khan, Yasir Qureshi and Imran Lodhi joined Omar Akhtar and Omar Khalid at a jam at Omar Akhtar's house. And so the first ADP jam occured. The the original lineup included all 5 musicians as followed: Omar Bilal Akhtar (Guitars on his compositions and bass on Lodhi's compositions, lead vocals on his songs and backing vocals on Lodhi's songs) Omar Khalid (Drums) Yasir Qureshi (Darbuka/percussion) Khawer Khan(Rhythm Guitar) Imran Lodhi( Guitars on his compositions and bass on Omar Akhtars compositions, lead vocals on his songs and backing vocals on Omar Akhtar's songs) After 2 shows, Khawer Khan left the band due to creative differences and heavy workload as he had started working at Indus Music. The suviving members went on to perform and write music as the "Aunty Disco Project". The year March 2006 to July 2007 saw ADP perform over 40 shows in numerous venues all over Karachi including Cafe Caffeine, Basement Cafe, Arts Council, P.A.C.C, Alliance Francais and several open air venues as well.
