Born Ryan Friedman in Rochester, New York on the 22nd of
May in 1985 when the sun was in the sign of Gemini (the Twins). This plays an important factor in the morphing of Ryan into MURDOCK SAINT.
As a young boy, Ryan showed great promise as a model and actor. Working as an extra in films like “Finding Forester”and “Palace Thief,” television series “Medical Detectives” and an impressive roster of commercials’ where Ryan was the principle. His talents didn’t stop there, his good looks allowed him to do print work and his great acting skills opened up the doors to the world of Theater. Working as an actor, and as an Assistant Director.
But it wasn’t until the “Music” that Ryan learned of his “alter ego” MURDOCK SAINT. MURDOCK is about the flow, and the beat, and of course the lyrics. Can’t forget the lyrics…MURDOCK SAINT IS ABOUT THE HIP AND THE HOP. Flowing, writing and producing, his mentors have been artist that represent the “underground” of HIP HOP….Common, Mos Def , Dilated Peoples. Artist like Nate Dogg and Blackalicous are in his iPod, along with his favorite female artist Alicia Keys.
MURDOCK has a debut single being released entitled “A WOMAN LIKE YOU”. Listen for it and Look for more hits from the SAINT…..MURDOCK SAINT.
