Although I have a musical father and brother I found learning to read and write music difficult when I was in my teens. I always liked to play the piano "by ear" but everything I composed was soon forgotten. Fast forward to the 1980's and I discovered that you could hook up a hardware sequencer to your keyboard. Then I could compose arange and record any music that came to me. Many of the tracks here were composed in those days before PCs were around. I recorded some tracks to a mini disc player and later these tracks to CD.
My composing was put on hold for a few years while I played computer games like Everquest but I emerged back into the real world armed with Cubasis sequencing software and minus my trusty old Roland MC300 sequencer.
