I stay in Oakland and make music non-stop. I make music using a Roland SP-303 sampler, an old belt drive "Realistic" brand turntable to get my samples off vinyl. The only thing I continue to like about making beats is the challenge to find creative ways to make a composition. I relate it to drawing a picture, you start with a sketch and constantly flesh it out more a more, until you end up with a fully developed picture of sounds and rhythm.
